Like many Soul Calibur games in the past, the latest installment of the video game series, titled Soul Calibur 6, will also feature various guest fighters. Yoko Taro’s got another mobile title in the pipeline, and it finally has a date in Japan. Nier Reincarnation is headed to phones in Japan in 2021 on February 18, as detailed in a tweet from the Japanese Twitter account. Fans of the Automata entry to the series have plenty of reason to play too, as the mobile game will launch with a collaboration with the 2017 hit. A while back, Square Enix announced that Yoko Taro’s tragic world of Nier would be getting a mobile game installment and that it would be launching sometime after the Japanese version in the west....

Oddworld: Soulstorm is one of April’s free PlayStation Plus titles, but only if you’re playing on the PS5, which is strange considering the game will also be released on the PS4. Oddworld Inhabitants has since taken to Twitter to explain how the upgrade process is going to work. The post starts by reminding players that Oddworld: Soulstorm is a free PlayStation Plus game from April 6 to May 3. The post continues on to say that if you buy a digital version of Soulstorm on PS4, you’ll get a free upgrade to the PS5 version of the game as well....

Hulu has released a short teaser trailer for its forthcoming exclusive horror film, Brannon Braga’s Books of Blood. The feature-length horror film, based on Clive Barker’s short story collection, is described by Hulu as “a journey into uncharted and forbidden territory through three tales tangled in space and time.” Ok, calm down, Hulu, it’s just a spooky anthology. That’s cool enough without things getting uncharted and/or forbidden. The actual plot of Books of Blood is surprisingly hard to come by, as Hulu’s being unaccountably vague on the subject....
