Overcooked: All You Can Eat remakes Overcooked and mixes it together with Overcooked 2 in this next-gen ready compilation edition.
Team17 has returned to the kitchen with a brand new version of Overcooked that’s ready for the next generation of consoles. It’s called Overcooked: All You Can Eat, and it’s the best Overcooked game yet.
Mostly because it’s both Overcooked combined into one ultra-HD remake.
Yes, this is a compilation that combines both Overcooked 1 & 2 into a single game, but it’s also more than that. Overcooked 1 has been remastered in Overcooked 2’s engine so that everything can be displayed in beautiful 4K at 60 frames per second. It also means that Overcooked’s online multiplayer can now reach across the interwebs to enable crossplay between platforms, which are both the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5.
Not only do we get remastered and upscaled graphics, but Overcooked: All You Can Eat now also brings 7 brand new levels, 3 new chefs, faster loading times, and new trophies and achievements. There’s also new accessibility options, which include a scalable user interface and colorblind modes, as well as assist mode featuring slower timeouts on recipes, increased duration of rounds, and the option to skip levels–perfect for very young audiences.
We don’t have a release date yet, but Overcooked: All You Can Eat certainly looks close to finished in the trailer. I’d expect to see this game come out shortly after the next-gen launch.
