Endgame Outriders is all about farming Expeditions in the hopes you can get some of the best gear in the game, particularly the powerful Legendary armor sets that are specific to each class.

These provide massive boosts and come with their own unique Armor mods. Certain builds will need an Armor set to reach their max potential. To get a set bonus you only need to equip three pieces, though you can only get one set bonus at a time. Here’s a comprehensive list of each class’ legendary armor sets and what they do.

4 Technomancer Legendary Armor Sets

The Technomancer has four legendary armor sets: the Borealis Monarch set, the Grim Inventor Set, The Plague Sower set, and the Torrential Downpour set. Check out one of our Technomancer build guides to see how these armors fit in. Here are the details behind each set and its individual armor pieces:

Borealis Monarch Set

The Borealis Monarch set is perfect for a Freeze Technomancer: it increases damage to frozen enemies by 10 percent and provides a huge buff to the Cold Snap ability that increases Crit Damage by 90 percent for all enemies.

Grim Inventor Set

The Grim inventor set is focused on the Tools of Destruction and Pain Launcher abilities. Every time you hit an enemy with a barrage of Pain Launcher while the Minigun or Rocket Launcher is up, you’ll get a 20 percent refill of ammunition.

Plague Sower Set

The Plague Sower set is a typically Toxic Technomancer armor set. It will boost your damage reduction by 5 percent each time you inflict Toxic affliction on an enemy. Works really well with the Pestilence tree. Oh, and it looks awesome.

Torrential Downpour Set

The Torrential Downpour set is specifically designed for the Scrapnel ability, a staple of an explosive Technomancer build. When the full set is worn (or three items, at least) the Scrapnel ability will explode into multiple, smaller cluster bombs. This armor set probably looks most like what you’d expect from a Technomancer, as well.

3 Devastator Legendary Armor Sets

The Devastator has four legendary armor sets: the Deathproof set, the Marshal set, the Seismic Commander set, and the Statue set. Each come with their own unique properties and complement one of the many different builds for the Devastator. Here’s one of our best Devastator build guides.

Deathproof Set

The Deathproof set provides one bonus and one bonus only: a huge 90 percent cooldown reduction for the Boulderdash skill. This is one of the biggest cooldown reductions available to any class, for any skill. It turns the Devastator into a one-unit wrecking ball. Super fun. Nice spooky-looking mask as well.

Marshal Set

Much like the Deathproof set, the Marshal set targets one specific ability: Endless Mass. When at least three items from the set are worn, Endless Mass will pull in enemies and deal extra damage to four of them, sharing out 10 percent of Anomaly Power and 30 percent of incoming weapon damage.

Seismic Commander Set

The Seismic Commander set is the perfect addition to any Bleed-focused Devastator build: it will increase damage dealt to enemies afflicted with bleed by a whopping 50 percent. Due to all the other Bleed synergy in the Devastator’s class trees (and the Ultimate Bleeding Bullets mod), this is one of the most succinctly good armor sets for the class.

Statue Set

The Statue Set offers a big boost for both the Tremor and Golem skills: whenever you activate either ability your Firepower is double and you and your ally’s Weapon Skill Leech is doubled. Not only will you be walking around shrugging off bullets like some kind of rock-Hulk, but you’ll also be offering support for your team, too.

2 Trickster Legendary Armor Sets

The Trickster has four legendary armor sets: the Chronosuit set, the Edge of Time set, the Trespasser set and the Ugake Otarah set.

These armor sets complement the Trickster’s aggressive playstyle and are a great endgame goal to aim for if you’re mastering the time-assassin. Read our Trickster guide to find out how to play this class.

Chronosuit Set

The Chronosuit set provides a direct buff to the Borrowed Time skill. This time-bending skill is pretty cool as it is, but with at least three items from the Chronosuit set each time you activate it you’ll get a fully replenished mag for your gun.

Edge Of Time Set

The Edge of Time set improves two of the Trickster’s abilities: the Temporal Blade and the Cyclon Slice. Damage is increased by 100 percent for both abilities, which is a pretty sizable upgrade. Perfect for a Trickster build that likes to get up close and personal and deal big damage with Anomaly Power.

Trespasser Set

The buff the Trespasser set provides is pretty straightforward: you won’t die if you’re inside the Slow Trap. With loads of cooldown reduction available in the class tree for that particular skill, you can become semi-invincible. Being immortal for a few moments obviously has its merits.

Ugake Otarah Set

This set boosts the Hunt the Prey and Venator’s Knife skill, providing an added synergy between the two. Mark your enemy with Venator’s Knife, teleport behind them with Hunt the Prey…and there’s no cooldown on Hunt the Prey. You can teleport all over the place with this armor set. Feels very Trickster.

1 Pyromancer Legendary Armor Sets

The Pyromancer has four legendary armor sets: the Acari set, the Lava Lich set, the Reforged set and the Torturer set. There are some huge buffs here to some of the Pyromancer’s essential skills. You’ll probably want one of these armors in the best Pyromancer build. We also think these are some of the coolest-looking armors in the game.

Acari Set

The Acari set fits right into the flaming meta of Pyromancer: it adds an extra buff to the Heatwave skill, providing a 50 percent Anomaly Power boost for each enemy damaged by the ability. This caps out at 100 percent bonus, but that’s still a lot for a class that relies heavily on its AP.

Lava Lich Set

Not only does this armor set look like something straight out of Silent Hill, but its upgrade to the Eruption skill is also nothing to be sniffed at. This set will increase the damage of the skill and reduce its cooldown. That’s the skill that creates a volcanic eruption underneath enemies. If you love it, grab the Lava Lich set.

Reforged Set

The Reforged Set hones in on two crucial Pyromancer skills: Feed the Flames and Thermal. It increases the damage of both abilities by a flat 50 percent. If you’ve gone for some kind of heavy AP and high damage Pyromancer build, this armor set could be the one for you.

Torturer Set

Pretty grim name for this one, but the Torturer set does provide a great buff to the Volcanic Rounds ability. It triples the AOE effect of the ability around each individual shot. Basically, it deals extra damage and will increase the spread of your Burn throughout the enemies.
