The Devastator is a super fun class in Outriders that relies on getting up close and personal with your opponents. There is a lot of useful synergy between the Devastator’s ability to heal themselves consistently, inflict massive amounts of Bleed damage, and interrupt the enemy’s charged abilities.

You can head down the Vanquisher, Warden, or Seismic Shifter skill tree, with each set of skills working to hone the purpose of your Devastator builds. You can check out our complete guide to the Devastator here. Tank or slayer, here are some of the best mods for the Devastator to use.

4 Best Mods For The Sustainable Gravity Leap Devastator Build

This build allows the Devastator to basically endlessly heal themselves. It relies heavily on one mod and skill: the tier 1 Life Absorption mod for the Gravity Leap skill. This mod is found on shoes and of course, can be modded onto your favorite pair.

What does the mod do and how can you structure an entire build around it? Each time you Gravity Leap you heal for 15 percent of the damage dealt, and if you kill anything, you heal for 30 percent of the damage dealt. If you time it well, and juke enemies like you’re playing Call of Duty Zombies, then you can pretty much sustain through any fight. This is an ideal build for difficult expeditions, including the Frontline expedition.

3 Best Mods For The Bullet Sponge Devastator Build

For this build, you want to head down the Warden tree, for resistance boosts, health boosts, and armor boosts, and then use the Golem Skill and Reflect Bullets to turn into a walking, talking tank.  You’re basically Neo. You’ll be able to get your hands on the mods by both selling and dismantling gear.

Some of the best mods for this build include the Tier 3 Golem Squad, a fun mod that increases the skill duration by 20 percent but also passes on the golem protection for your allies; the Increase Duration mod for Reflect Bullets, which increases the time of this skill by 40 percent, so you can soak up even more bullets, and the neutral Golem Rising tier 3 mod that grants another protective golem around you for 3 seconds on each killing shot.

2 Best Mods For The Bleed Devastator Build

There is so much synergy for Bleed with the Devastator that it seems silly to ignore this build. Skills like Impale and Endless Mass deal significant AOE Bleed damage and can interrupt enemies while they’re charging up their powerful attacks. Particularly useful for big Elite fights and to help you farm for those powerful Legendary weapons.

The best mods for a heavy Bleed build with the Devastator include the Tier 3 Ultimate Impaler mod that allows the Impale skill to be activated twice before cooldown; the Tier 3 Palisade mod that allows the Impale skill to hit two additional targets, and the Tier 1 Vlad’s Grasp mod for Impale that increases the skill’s range by 25 percent. Heavy on the Impale.
