Accolades are a unique challenge system in Outriders, granting unique cosmetic rewards for completing certain challenges. These Accolades range from killing enemies with skills to obtaining every unique legendary weapon in the game. Since these are account bound, some Accolades take much longer to earn than others, most notably the class-specific Accolades.
Reaching the maximum Accolade rank of 30 is a serious grind, one that only the most dedicated Outriders players will reach. Thankfully, there are a few Expeditions, side quests, and general tips that can make these Accolades much easier. Here are eight tips that will make farming Accolades much easier.
8 Play Each Class
A surprising number of Accolades revolve around using your abilities in combat. There are four categories for this, one for each class: Devastator, Pyromancer, Technomancer, and Trickster. If you want to reach Accolade level 30, you’ll need to extensively play every class in the game.
Every class Accolade category requires you to max out a skill path, which will require 13 skill points. It’ll likely take most of the campaign to reach this point, allowing you to complete other Accolades that involve using certain weapons or crafting items (explained later).
Accolades that tie to certain skills are all listed below. Numbers represent the highest Accolade requirement, meaning you’ll complete five Accolades for each skill challenge listed.

7 Complete Every Side Quest
Side quests in Outriders are fantastic for progressing your Accolades rank. Nearly every side quest in the game has an Accolade. You can find most of these Accolades under the “Progression” tab of the Accolades menu.
The two most notable side quests are the Hunter and Wanted side quests. Both quest types task you with killing a certain target. Most of these enemies are tied to a “Hunt” Accolade type, allowing you to kill two birds with one stone. Completing all ten of the Hunter or Wanted side quests will also grant a legendary item, making this well worth your time.
6 Complete And Farm Expeditions For Legendaries
Certain “Progression” Accolades require you to complete unique Expeditions and kill certain Expedition bosses. These challenges are fairly easy to complete, excluding the Accolade that tasks you with beating Eye of the Storm. Clear each Expedition to increase your Accolade rank.
If you can’t complete every Expedition, you should be farming certain Expeditions to build a stockpile of legendary items and resources. Many Accolades in Outriders require you to unlock mods and earn legendaries, and there’s no better activity for doing both than Expeditions.
Farming Expeditions
The best Expeditions for farming legendaries are:
For guides covering each Expedition, consult our Outriders Complete Guide and Walkthrough article.
5 Play Co-op
Cooperative play is fairly buggy if you use public matchmaking, so it’s recommended that you find a group to play with instead.
Disregarding co-op bugs, 17 Accolades in Outriders are tied to cooperative play—most of which are fairly easy to complete. Challenges include killing enemies, reviving teammates, and completing a co-op Expedition with a Gold rank. All of those objectives should only take a few co-op matches to complete, giving you a few Accoalde levels for almost no effort.
4 Farm Frontline For Expedition Kills
We mentioned some excellent Expedition to farm earlier in the guide, but those missions focused on obtaining legendaries. Plenty of Accolades require you to kill enemies in Expeditions, or demand kills with certain weapons or skills.
For those types of challenges, Frontline is by far the best Expedition to farm. This mission is jam-packed with dozens of enemies that spawn in droves. Obtaining 1,000 ability or skill kills seems rough until you realize this mission spawns hundreds of enemies in one run. You don’t even need to play this mission at a high Challenge Tier; clearing this mission at a low Challenge Tier still grants credit for these kill Accolade challenges.
3 Farm The First City For Skill Kills
If you can’t farm Expeditions yet or need skill kills, the “Rescue Zahedi” checkpoint in the First City story point is an excellent kill and XP farm.
To start the checkpoint:
Kill all of the enemies until you reach the bridge section. Kill the Alpha Perforo and nearby enemies, then quit to the main menu to reload that story checkpoint. Rinse and repeat. Tons of enemies are in this story point, most of which are fairly easy to kill. They don’t pose much of a threat, so this also serves as a great XP and World Tier XP farm.
2 Swap Weapon Types Frequently
Under the “Combat” Accolade tab are dozens of challenges that require kills with certain weapon archetypes. Most players stick with the same one of two weapon types for their build, resulting in progress only being made for a few of these challenges.
If your build allows it, use different weapon archetypes if you’re farming lower Challenge Tiers. The toughest Accolades involve using Pistols and Revolvers. For these, boot up an Expedition on a low Challenge Tier to complete this quickly.
1 Craft Often
Outriders has 82 Accolades tied exclusively to crafting. Dismantling gear, upgrading the rarity of items, and increasing an item’s attributes are the main Accolades tied to crafting.
Besides a few Accolades that ask you to sell your items, you should be dismantling your items as often as possible to complete these challenges. Past that, improve any rares you stumble across to make progress on the rarity and attribute Accolade challenges.
If you’re short on certain materials, we have a Titanium farming guide and a Drop Pod Resources guide that will guide you through earning the game’s rarest materials. For Iron and Leather, dismantle any items you don’t plan on using.
