Outriders takes players on a massive looter-shooter adventure where they get to experience the fascinating new planet of Enoch. Some of the locations that you get to visit while exploring Enoch have unique conditions and are built structurally in a way that is very different from towns that exist in real life.

Trench Town is one of the most important settlements in Outriders, and you will have to pass through it if you want to complete the main story of the game. There are lots of things about Trench Town that are easy to miss, such as the side quests or the history of the town.

10 The Residents Of Trench Town Continue To Dig Deeper To Escape The Harsh Conditions

Similar to the rest of the planet, Trench Town is known for harsh conditions, and the residents of this settlement occasionally need to dig even deeper tunnels to escape from the after-effects of these conditions.

The tunnel system in Trench Town is quite advanced; however, you don’t get to see very much of it while playing through Outriders since it doesn’t have much relevance to the main story or side quests.

9 Grand Marshal Corrigan Is In Charge Of Trench Town

The highest leader of Trench Town is Grand Marshal Corrigan, which isn’t immediately obvious in Outriders if you’re not paying very close attention since there are lots of smaller leaders that reside in the town.

During the course of Outriders, you will have to interact with Grand Marshal Corrigan, and he even sends you on missions while completing the main story. Surprisingly, Corrigan is relatively young considering that he is the head commander of Trench Town and the surrounding area.

8 Trench Town Was Only Built After The War Began

Trench Town is a very important settlement for the people of Enoch, which may make it a surprise to learn that this settlement wasn’t even built until after the war began.

Trench Town was built as an important settlement that could help separate people from the direct conditions of the war and serve as a place for soldiers to rest and stock up on supplies. Many other towns in Outriders were also only built after this Great War started.

7 Many Families Also Live In Trench Town With The Soldiers

Although Trench Town may seem like a settlement full of soldiers, there are also regular citizens and families that live in the settlement if you take the time to look around.

Most of these people are the families of the soldiers that reside in Trench Town, so it isn’t too shocking to see that they followed their wives and husbands to the town. However, it would probably be best if these families didn’t live under the constant threat of enemy attack and move to safer settlements if they get the chance.

6 The People Of Trench Town Drink A Lot Of Moonshine

The people that live inside Trench Town don’t get to live glamorous lives, and one thing that helps them through the unfortunate reality that they are living in is getting to unwind every day with their own special moonshine.

Trench Town is known for its moonshine, and most of the residents that reside there like to indulge in it every once in a while, which helps keep everyone together and creates a more relaxed environment at the end of the day. The moonshine in Trench Town is only mentioned occasionally, such as in journal entries, which is why most players miss this fact.

5 The Journal Entry About Trench Town And The History Of Earth Entry

Trench Town has a fascinating journal entry that reveals a lot more about the town that you visit in Outriders. It reveals many different interesting facts about Trench Town and the inhabitants that live inside of it.

For example, this journal entry details the trenches that were built to help deal with the enemy threat and many other facts about the structure of Trench Town. There are also a few other journal entries located throughout Trench Town; most notably, the History Of Earth journal entry.

4 Flooding Is Very Common In Trench Town

Flooding is an incredibly common occurrence in Trench Town, which is unfortunate for the residents of this small city. When Trench Town floods, it can ruin supplies and make the ground somewhat hard to walk on, which could be problematic if there were ever to be an enemy attack.

Since Trench Town is built with a variety of trenches, it isn’t too surprising that it would flood a lot; however, it is easy to miss the flooding since it doesn’t actually happen inside of the main story of Outriders.

3 The Side Quests In Trench Town

There are 4 different side quests that you are able to miss while exploring Trench Town, and they all grant extra items and experience for your character. As such, you shouldn’t miss out on them if you are able to complete them either by yourself or with your party. These quests are very easy to miss since most players only pass through Trench Town while completing the main quest, and they are usually too focused on the main quest to notice the side quests. These quests grant high-level weapons and armor upon completion.

The quests are titled A Heart Of Gold, Life’s Treasure, The Outriders Legacy, and Return Fire. Be careful while completing these quests since many of them feature powerful enemies, and you may not be ready for them depending on your level.

2 Trench Town Is So Close To The Frontlines That It Is Considered To Be Part Of It

Interestingly, the residents of Trench Town actually consider it to be a part of the frontlines in the war. This is because Trench Town lies so close to the frontlines that enemy attacks are always imminent and a major threat for the people living there.

This fact is also the reason why there are so many soldiers that live in Trench Town; because they can quickly make their way to the battle from this town.

1 Everybody In The Town Has Trench Foot

An interesting fact about Trench Town is that most of its citizens have trench foot all the time. This condition is caused by a person’s feet being wet for too long a period of time, and because of the wet conditions of Trench Town, most of the residents have this all of the time or at least occasionally.

Trench foot is an annoying condition to have, and it can make walking hard; unfortunately, it is simply a reality for all of the citizens that live in the town, and they seem to have adapted to it in the best way that they can.
