For the anime video game fans of 2020, it’s been brimming with releases. While the main anime releases came out earlier this year, the roll out of downloadable content continues to gain traction.
The next edition of additional characters to make their way into an anime fighter comes with a new combatant for One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows. The next character to join the ranks of the evildoers and do-gooders is the A-Class Rank 19 hero Lightning Max and he is available now.
Coming with Lightning Max are new customization items, missions to play and special moves to use in battle. Lightning Max comes in as the second downloadable character within the game’s Character Pass. The first character to release was Suiryu back in April and now with Lightning Max there are still two more mystery characters to go.
One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is based on the immensely popular anime and manga series. A Hero Nobody Knows released in back in February being the first proper licensed video game based on the franchise. While the game definitely has its issues, there is still fun to be had in the zany world of one stupidly overpowered hero and then everyone else.
This is not the only Bandai Namco anime fighter to get some DLC this month. My Hero One’s Justice 2 saw the high flyer Hawks join the battle and the cross-property fighter Jump Force had Shoto Todoroki from My Hero Academia join that fray.
