The 12.61 patch might have been nothing to write home about, but those extra seven days have certainly got Fortnite fans talking.
Chapter 2: Season 1 of Fortnite felt like it dragged on forever due to all of the delays. Season 2 hasn’t quite had the same effect, but news of another delay this week has players rolling their eyes. The community is especially disenchanted from Epic’s lack of reasoning for the delay, aside from simply needing more time to prepare. Mysterious.
As for what has happened (rather than what hasn’t) – as promised, Fortnite received another update. It didn’t exactly blow players away, though. Players who are unaware of the patch’s existence might not even notice any changes; it mainly consists of minor bug fixes and items added to the game’s store.
The biggest change it brought with it, however, was the Storm the Agency challenges. There are more hints that when Season 2 does come to an end, The Agency will have something to do with it. Overall, it’s something to keep players occupied during the extra week that has been tacked on to the end of Season 2, but the challenges aren’t exactly all that, well… challenging. Some players may have even finished them in the same time it takes to read this!
