Fans of the new culinary Pokémon game Pokémon Café Mix can now bring a piece of the game into their homes with the new official merchandise line, now available for preorder.
Pokémon Café Mix launched on mobile and for free download on the Nintendo Switch at the end of June to great reviews. Pokémon fans are in love with the sweet style of animation and the fact that the café is an absolute aesthetic dream. In the game, players are working at a new café that caters specifically to Pokémon and, other than you and the one other human employee, only seems to employ Pokémon as well. By using only the touch screen, café workers have to get help from their Pokémon coworkers to concoct drinks, sweets, and small plates using their special skills. Using the icons featuring the faces of some favorite Pokémon employees and patrons, players have to link up the images to resolve obstacles, meet quotas, and collect ingredients to complete orders.
This kind of game has really gotten the world going creatively. Pokémon Café Mix has already inspired so many fans to create their own versions of the recipes that come out in the animated kitchen, a collection is the logical next step. What’s next, a cookbook?
