Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm Golden Edition will launch as a free update this Friday on iOS via Apple Arcade.
The update - which will be the biggest update for the game thus far - will bring all-new side quests and puzzles to the game, along with additional voice lines and an expanded ending. New dungeons and items will also be added as expansion content. The update will come with improved graphics, as well as a new 60 FPS mode for devices that can support it.
All of this along with the game’s open-world exploration and hack ‘n slash combat system provides a 20-hour action-filled RPG adventure that could potentially be considered one of the closest things to console-like play on an iPhone (since controller support is a feature).
Although it is the second game in the series, the first game - Oceanhorn: Monsters of Uncharted Seas - does not need to be played prior to Oceanhorn 2. This is a huge benefit for players who want to check out the Golden Edition of the game when it releases on June 5th. Be sure to watch for our review of the game later this week.
