Numskull Games, the indie games publisher known for Deadly Premonition: Origins and Battle Axe, will be holding a showcase for their upcoming titles on Tuesday, July 21. The
The nine-minute presentation, which will go live at 11 a.m. Pacific Time, will be the first time the company has held such a showcase. In a release, Numskull stated that there won’t be any new games announced during this showcase, but the format will be used for future announcements.
“I think people will really be surprised to see the games that we have coming to various platforms this year," said Numskull’s PR and Community Manager, Neil Flynn. “While many of our top fans have seen these games before there will be others in the community who will be seeing some of these games for the first time so I am glad that we will be able to bring this entertaining and informative format to showcase some of the games that we have coming in 2020.”
The showcase comes alongside a contest, where viewers can enter to win a Nintendo Switch Lite and a Numskull game of their choice.
Numskull is fairly new to the indie games scene, but has been making a lot of headway in the marketplace. The company started out selling licensed merchandise back in 2012 (and they continue to do so), but they eventually decided they wanted to be something more than that. So, they began working with developers to publish games in February of 2019.
In the year and a half since they began publishing, they have released 20 games on the Switch, PC and Playstation platforms. Several of those games, including SuperEpic, Crystar, Cytus and AI: The Somium Files, have had physical releases.
