Bunny Day is today, so prepare to be inundated with way too many colorful eggs.

Look, Easter-themed events are fun and all, but most of us have had our fill of Zipper and his endlessly cheerful attitude. And the eggs–we’ve definitely had enough of their freakin’ eggs!

When Animal Crossing: New Horizons started the Bunny Day event, they got in on the action early: two whole weeks early. For the first few days it was fun, but then people started realizing that Zipper’s eggs were so numerous they were practically replacing all the materials that you’d normally get from shaking trees or hitting rocks. Instead of that wood or iron nugget, you just get eggs. Endless amounts of eggs.

It got to the point where people were starting to see Zipper as the enemy. One even imprisoned Zipper in barbed wire.

Thankfully, Nintendo eventually realized that Bunny Day eggs were completely ruining the game and adjusted their spawn rates to be somewhat more manageable. You could still slowly acquire eggs to make Bunny Day-themed items, but they weren’t the only thing you’d find.

Easter Sunday (April 12) was designated as the last day of the event and also the last chance for you to make all the Bunny Day-exclusive cosmetics. Egg drop rates are back to their pre-adjustment levels, so don’t expect to find anything but eggs.

But at least tomorrow things can get back to normal.
