Next Tuesday is going to be a very big day for Nintendo. First, there’s going to be a Nintendo Direct presentation at E3 starting June 15 at 9 AM PST. Then, immediately following that presentation (at 10 AM), Nintendo will host a Digital Deal promotion on the Switch eShop with up to 50% off “hundreds of games.” That’s one of Nintendo’s biggest sales ever.

We don’t know what games will go on sale, so you’ll just have to browse the eShop on Tuesday to find out. Expect big names like Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon to be on sale, maybe even at that 50%-off mark.

There’s also something else that might be going on Tuesday just after the Nintendo Direct. Rumors of GameStop preparing for a flood of Nintendo customers on Tuesday are circulating online, and nobody is quite sure why. It might be because GameStop will also hold a big sale on Switch games at the same time as the Nintendo eShop, or it might be because of this Zelda 35th-anniversary poster that’ll go on sale.

Or maybe–just maybe–Nintendo has a big announcement coming at E3, and for whatever reason, it’s going to make a lot of people want to pile into their nearest GameStop. Breath of the Wild 2 perhaps?

We’ll find out for sure at Nintendo’s E3 presentation on Tuesday at 9 AM PST (12 PM EST). So far, all we know for sure is that Nintendo has specifically said there will be no Switch Pro news, so expect some Pokemon stuff, something about Zelda’s 35th anniversary, and maybe we’ll see the Nier Replicant Switch port that was datamined recently.
