While not the remasters we’re hoping for, Nintendo and Hasbro have revealed Super Mario Celebration Monopoly and Jenga sets. The Monopoly set will be releasing for $29.99 on August 1.

On the Monopoly set, iconic locations from the Mushroom Kingdom and beyond are available to buy with your fictional dollars. These include areas such as Yoshi’s Island, New Donk City, Super Bell Hill, Delfino Plaza, and more. There is a distinct lack of Bob-Omb Battlefield from Super Mario 64, however. In the middle of the board, multiple iterations of our favorite Italian plumber (sorry Frank) are displayed.

The houses and hotels that you’d usually expect in this real estate board game are replaced by toad houses and castles. Also, there is a question block that makes sound effects and can change each player’s luck in the game. Will you get a 1-UP on the competition? See more screenshots on Comicbook.com.

This Mario Celebration version of Jenga is quite different to what we’re used to. Like the Donkey Kong arcade game, the villain is at the top while the protagonist is going up the tower. But instead of DK, Bowser is on top. The aim of the game is to get the most coins, defeat Bowser, and not have the tower fall as you place the Mario characters on the pegs. There is a spinner that is included, which determines the amount of spaces you make, how many blocks you have to remove, the number of coins you collect, and even if you go backward. Jenga has definitely changed since most of us played it as kids.

We are hoping Nintendo will also be releasing remasters of Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Mario Galaxy 2 in a collection later this year, as rumors have suggested. It would definitely be a big nostalgia play for the Switch this Holiday season while Sony and Microsoft release their next-generation systems. Who will win? The latest technology or Nintendo’s classics? Either way, there will be a lot of happy gamers when the Holidays roll around.
