Ninjala will be getting two further seasons, just revealed by the game’s developers GungHo Online, which will apparently be brimming with exciting new content.
Ninjala is a free-to-play online multiplayer action game wherein you wield Ninja-Gum to use against your opponents in an effort to become a supreme ninja, as one does. The game was released at the end of last month exclusively for the Nintendo Switch and it’s taken off in a big way since then, already having accumulated 2 million downloads and counting.
New deets about the game’s second and third seasons have now been revealed. Season 2 will bring new stages, Ninja Gum weapons, Shinobi Cards, costumes and emotes, a new Ninjala Season Pass, and a “surprise collaboration” which is still going to be announced. Watch this space for info on the latter!
Season 3 will apparently also introduce yet more stages, weapons, costumes, the next episode of Ninjala’s Story Mode DLC, plus a Spectator Mode which will allow players to look in on other matches.
As an added bonus, all players who download the game by August 26th 2020 will receive a free gift as a token of the developers’ gratitude.
