Gungho’s popular Nintendo Switch brawler Ninjala has recently hit over three million downloads. The free-to-play title has reached massive success in only a few short months.
Being a Switch exclusive, Ninjala had to stand out above many other fantastic titles. In late June, the game reached two million downloads. The game’s numbers continue to rise, and we’re still waiting to see how many new players join the brawl in August.
To celebrate this success, developers Gungho decided to give players 100 Jala, which is the in-game paid currency. This offer stands until August 26, and this will allow new players to get 400 Jala.
As expressed in their recent community message, “We hope you are enjoying the world of Ninjala. We are happy to announce that Ninjala has achieved 3 million downloads worldwide! We wish to express our deepest gratitude to all our users for your support.”
This colorful game throws players in a heated battle between ninjas yielding bubblegum weapons. A wide range of bubblegum based skills and weapons gives players the choice of a few different playstyles.
The game’s combat is one of the many things that brought the game success. The easy to learn yet difficult to master style of play can suit all types of gamers. Even though it is a rock-paper-scissor style game, it still manages to bring flashy and entertaining animations. The game gets a player’s adrenaline pumping when they are clashing with opponents, predicting what they will do, and when.
Customization is also another large feature, giving the players a multitude of new looks to choose from from, whether it be from the Battle Pass or their own choice. The game does have microtransactions, though they will only get you weapon skins and player cosmetics.
Ninjala is now available for the Nintendo Switch.
