Epic is continuing to shovel out free games for anyone who actually bothers to download their client with two new titles available next week.

Do you like free games? ‘Cause we like free games, and that means we head on over to the Epic Games Store for free games. Two brand new games will be available starting June 25, and both of them will take you on a strange adventure.

The first new game is AER: Memories of Old from Forgotten Key. This open-world adventure game will put you in control of one of the last shapeshifters on a pilgrimage to the Land of Gods to figure out just what happened to shatter the world. Everything has been reduced to floating islands and ancient ruins, and it’s up to you to try to fix things because you’re the only one who can turn into a bird to fly to all these islands.

AER has gotten some pretty stellar reviews since releasing back in 2017, so you’d do well to pick this title up.

Epic’s second free game is Stranger Things 3: The Game. As the title suggests, it’s the companion game to the third season of Stranger Things, that show on Netflix that everyone keeps telling you to see (seriously, they just won’t shut up about it!).

A retro adventure game, you’ll take control of up to 12 playable characters from the show in either solo play or co-op. Stranger Things 3: The Game mostly follows the events found in season 3 of Stranger Things, but it’ll take a few departures in sidequests and a few character interactions.

By modern standards, Stranger Things 3 is a tiny game that you should be able to run on a potato. Even if you don’t like the show, you might like Stranger Things 3 if you’re a fan of old-school adventure games.

Both these fabulous games will be free for one week, so grab them between June 25 and July 2.

And Pathway is still available for those that aren’t willing to wait until next Thursday for free games. Pathway is the latest game from Chucklefish that’ll take a team of explorers into a 1930s wilderness in search of long-forgotten treasures. Turn-based RPG combat awaits in this tactical strategy game, and always in Chuckefish’s iconic pixel art style. Grab it in before June 25.
