Wow, it’s getting crowded in the mobile RPG genre these days. We got Black Desert Mobile, Blade & Soul, and now KartRider developer Nexon is throwing their hat into the ring with V4.
We don’t know much about V4 other than the fact it’s a pretty classic-looking Asian-style RPG set in a fantasy world. There will be 6 playable classes, including Knight, Magician, Blader, Warlord, Axler, and Gunslinger. As the names suggest, each class will have a unique set of skills and weapons.
Knights have a sword and shield, Magicians are typical mages, Bladers are dagger-wielding rogues, Warlords have heavy hammers, Axlers use axes, while Gunslingers use pistols and rifles.
According to Enduins, V4 will feature 5 different camera modes to suit even the pickiest of mobile gamers. There will also be trading and PvP servers as well.
Recommended devices are for Apple iPhone 7 or Samsung Galaxy S7 and up. No details on monetization have been released as of yet, but expect them to be basically the same as every other mobile RPG, with tons of cosmetic-based microtransactions and XP boosters.
If you’re interested, V4 will host global pre-registration starting on June 25, with a release date to be announced later.
