The third world of New Super Lucky’s Tale features more clovers than the previous two, with 26 in total, scattered across five levels and the hub world. Despite there being more to collect, this world is much easier than the last and will likely go by much quicker. As with the previous two worlds, this guide won’t cover coins, as you only need 300 per level and there are plenty more than that. Simply destroy everything that stands between you and the end of the level.
After exiting Veggie Village, you will fight Tess. Simply destroy the bees that spawn, dodge the laser and fireballs, and hit every switch to take her out. It’s not a hard boss fight and shouldn’t pose much of a problem at all. After completing it, you will spawn in the third world, Wrestful Retreat.
Ladder Match Of The Mind
Upon spawning, you should see the “L” to the immediate upper right on top of a bird. Platform up to it and stomp on him to collect it:
Continue climbing up the map until you see the first destructible box after the elevator, which will contain the “U”, and will be collected automatically upon breaking:
Continue up and you will eventually come to find a stack of boxes with a very clear purple glow behind them. Destroy the boxes and enter the foxhole to be transported to another area:
Complete the coin collection minigame to earn the Hidden Page:
Keep climbing upwards and you will eventually reach the point pictured below. The “C” is hard to miss here:
Immediately after the next checkpoint, you will come to a large spinning wheel with numerous platforms. Collect all of the big coins on these platforms to spawn the “K” in the center:
A bit further up, once you reach the point pictured below, you should see the “Y” in the upper left corner. Jump and grab it from the third platform:
Once you reach the top and talk to Peace, the level completion page will spawn:
8-Fold Path
Proceed forward from the spawn point, and you will see three beetle enemies roaming around. To kill them, you need to burrow, crawl underneath them, then emerge out of the ground. This will flip them upside-down and allow you to tail swipe them. Killing all three will spark a cutscene that will allow you to advance:
Take a right and ascend up the morphing staircase of star pads up to the top of the level. You will see a coin on the star in front of you. Collecting it will spawn in a trail of coins that will loop around the area. Chase and collect them to spawn the “L”:
Go left along the bridge and continue until you reach a checkpoint. You should see a yellow bird flying around on the bridge in front of you. Stomp on it to spawn a second one, then a third, fourth, and fifth one. After the fifth one is dead, the “U” will spawn:
Continue along the intended path, sticking to the left as you go. You will eventually come to the island pictured below. Dig up all of the coins to spawn the “C”:
Backtrack to where the path first split and now take the right path. You will soon come to a checkpoint next to a large square of numerous transforming platforms, filled with spikes and star bounce pads. Ignore this for now. Instead, head right and do the coin collection minigame by punching the alarm clock:
Climb up the platforms in front of you after collecting your reward and you will find three pink flowers. Kill them to spawn a foxhole that you will enter. Complete the coin collection minigame here to spawn the Hidden Page:
Continue along the path, across the coiling path to reach the “K” in plain sight directly in front of you:
From here, you can double-jump down to the large square of moving platforms, spikes, and bounce pads. Collect all of the coins on top of these bounce pads carefully and the “Y” will spawn in the middle of the square:
After collecting that, climb the rocks on the other side to find a switch. Ground-pound it to spawn in the level completion page:
Crawl, Walk, Run
This level is an autoscroller, so collectibles are very missable. If you happen to miss one, simply replay the level again for clean-up. Make sure to read ahead, so you know what to look out for. The general strategy is to hit every gong along the way and follow the paths that they open.
To start, take the upper path to reach the “L” after the second conveyor belt:
After the long conveyor belt up ahead, hit the gong at the top to open the bottom path. Go down and hit the gong there as well to lower the conveyor belt leading to the “U”:
Take the upper path ahead to get the diamond, as that is worth far more coins than the lower path. Once you start jumping through saw blades, make sure to jump for the “C” at the third set of saws:
Continue until you reach the diamond, then make sure to hit the gong immediately after. From here, press nothing and you will be taken to the Hidden Page:
After working down the lowering platforms, you will go up a conveyor belt to where a gong is. Hit that to open the upper path, revealing the “K”:
Make sure to hit the two succeeding gongs immediately after the “K”, then burrow under the saws and jump for the “Y”:
Continue on, hitting the gongs and staying to the upper path to get as many coins as possible. You will reach the end shortly and earn the level completion page:
Peaceful Place
After crossing the first few spike traps, you will reach an alarm clock. Tail swipe it and complete the coin collection minigame to spawn the “L”:
Continue in the same direction you’re going to the very end, bounce up to the top layer and run to grab the “U” as pictured below:
Cross the bridge with the rolling spike log and head left, up to the foxhole. Enter it and complete the coin collection minigame to earn the Hidden Page:
You will have to cross the bridge with the rolling log again, but this time proceed to the right. Continue along the only path until you reach a checkpoint, then climb up the bounce pads to the top of the stone structure to collect the “C”:
Approach the large circular door and it will open automatically. Continue forward until you reach an area with a blue checkboard floor pattern. Look right and climb up to the alarm clock. Complete the coin collection challenge to spawn the “K”. Hit the gong at the top platform while you’re here:
Head back down the checkerboard floor, taking the left path this time. You will be able to see the “Y” at the top of the obstacle course. Work your way up through it (it’s very simple), hitting the gong along the way and grabbing the collectible:
With both gongs hit, you can continue through the newly opened area. Enter the foxhole to be taken to the final part of the level, a wave fight on an elevator. Try to stick to the white tiles if possible, as the brown tiles are trapped with spikes. Keep killing enemies as they spawn and after three waves, the elevator will stop and you can cross the bridge to collect the level completion page:
Melon Madness
Head left and burrow under the blades. The “L” can be seen in some boxes. Jump through the middle box, which is a false wall, and grab the letter:
Once you reach the area pictured below, hit the three switches in order from left to right, allowing you to grab the “U”:
After reaching a checkpoint, you will arrive at the spot seen below. The wall to the left of Lucky here is false and you can walk through it. Enter the foxhole and collect every coin in this area to spawn the Hidden Page:
After jumping over a few melons, you’ll reach an alarm clock. Complete the coin collection minigame to spawn the “C”:
The “K” is practically unmissable. Once you reach this point, burrow into the watermelon then jump up and grab the letter before continuing:
Once you finish the section where you have to balance on a rolling watermelon, don’t jump off the watermelon immediately. The watermelon will start to roll backwards and the “Y” will appear on the watermelon. You can then double-jump to the platform ahead and grab the level completion page:
Hub World

Push the lower-left statue right and the upper-right statue left. Push the second statue from the left down, and the second statue from the right up:
Push the two outside statues inside to solve the puzzle and reveal the page:
Directly across from you, towards 8-Fold Path is the next foxhole:
Push all the statues as far right as they can go:
Push the upper-left statue down, then the new upper-left statue left:
Push the lower-left statue up, the upper-left statue right, then the upper-middle statue back down:
Push the upper-right statue left, the bottom left statue up, then both upper statues to the left to solve the puzzle and reveal the page:
Follow the skeleton path around the back of 8-Fold Path to reach the final foxhole of this hub world:
Push the bottommost statue up, then the leftmost statue right and up:
Push the leftmost statue right, then the statue to the right of that down:
Push the bottom-left statue left, then the bottom-right statue left and down. Push the topmost statue down and left to solve the puzzle and reveal the final page of Wrestful Retreat:
You can now continue through the exit door of this hub world, to start your journey through the fourth world, Gilly Island.
