New Super Lucky’s Tale is making its way to PS4 and Xbox One.
The original Lucky’s Tale was a virtual reality title released for the Oculus Rift, but a more traditional sequel titled Super Lucky’s Tale was released for Xbox One. Finally, New Super Lucky’s Tale, an upgraded version of the Xbox One game, was released last year for Nintendo Switch. The game’s levels are separated into 3D mini collect-a-thons, and 2D side-scrollers. The 3D ones may bring to mind platformers like Banjo-Kazooie and Super Mario Odyssey. All in all, the game is quite good for gamers of all ages. Soon, even more players will be able to check it out.
Playful Studios, the company behind New Super Lucky’s Tale, announced the colorful platformer will be released on PS4 and Xbox One. No release date was given, but the studio says it’s “coming soon.”
Playful Studios says the game will not be added as a free patch for those who own Super Lucky’s Tale on Xbox One. The reason is New Super Lucky’s Tale features a number of tweaks and additions that make it much more than an expanded version.
New Super Lucky’s Tale puts an emphasis on classic, wholesome platforming. If one didn’t play it on Nintendo Switch, and enjoys pure 3D and 2D platforming, New Super Lucky’s tale will certainly be worth checking out when it releases on PS4 ans Xbox One.
