If you’re a fan of the epic spaceships in Star Wars, then you’ll want to know more about the upcoming game, Star Wars: Starfighter Missions. This mobile title will allow you to take control of some of the most iconic ships in the franchise.
The game is a joint venture between Joymax Crop and Lucasfilm and sees players pilot vessels including the Millenium Falcon and Darth Vadar’s TIE Fighter. There are said to be over 80 ships in total, although your choice is likely to be limited depending on if you choose to fight for the dark side or light side.
You’ll be flying through planets that feature in the franchise and reenacting famous fights from both the new and original Star Wars trilogies. Over time you’ll work towards building a squadron that can defeat your enemies in battle.
Information so far suggests there are three play modes; Campaign, Challenge, and Epic Battle. The Campaign mode will unlock new Starfighters as stages are completed, Epic Battle is the place to recreate those famous fights and Challenge will be a head-to-head between players.
Star Wars: Starfight Missions is set to be released in select Asian countries sometime in 2020 but there are, as yet, no further details regarding price, platform and if it will roll out worldwide at a later date.
