A Japanese only livestream has also been announced for May 25th, at 4PM PDT. This stream is being hosted by Yuko Kawanishi and Liberation Dx2 producer Tanabe, who will be giving a more detailed look at the event and its characters. While English players may not be able to follow along with the livestream, presents have been promised for those that stick around to the end.
For those that opt to skip the livestream event, there are still goodies available in the game itself. The “Event Countdown Login Bonus” will offer rewards for each daily login, ranging from gems (the currency used to for gacha) to extra stamina. This is running until May 27th, at 6:59PM PDT.
There couldn’t have been a better time for a Berserk event, as a new chapter for the long-running series is planned for release next month. Starting back in 1989, Berserk’s dark fantasy setting and bloody action has given itself a large following amongst manga fans. However, it has also been plagued by many delays and hiatuses, and this upcoming chapter will only be the second one to come out this year. Here’s hoping the Liberation Dx2 event will make the wait for this new chapter easier for fans.
The Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation Dx2 x Berserk collaboration event will run from May 27 to June 10.
