The latest Humble Bundle gives gamers all the Capcom and Sega games they can possibly handle.
We don’t have a lot of time, and this bundle is huge, so let’s get to it! The latest Humble Bundle gives you the bestest Capcom and Sega games for PlayStation, starting with Dead Rising, the 2006 zombie-killing-classic that sees you trapped in a mall beset by zombies. It’s up to you to use everything that a Colorado mall can provide (which is practically anything) to escape with all your limbs still attached.
Next up is Dustforce, the 2012 indie PC game that eventually found its way to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 when Capcom found it and fell in love. In Dustforce you play one of four janitors trying to clean up a world covered in filth. It’s a platformer comparable to Super Meat Boy only much, much dirtier. In a literal way rather than a figurative one. At least until you clean it up.
Continuing on is the Sega classic Crazy Taxi. This one is the PlayStation 3 version, so it doesn’t come with the ultra-cool original soundtrack by Bad Religion and The Offspring, but it’s still an enjoyable ride nonetheless. Enjoy driving madly throughout town while you deliver people to their destination at warp speed while ignoring all traffic laws, or even common sense.
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz comes in from the PS Vita, and is the eighteenth game in the Super Monkey Ball franchise. As with every other game, there’s a monkey in a ball you have to get through the maze before time runs out. There’s also a bunch of minigames and other stuff going on, but the game is always about monkeys and balls at its core.
Pay more than the average and get even better games, like the original Resident Evil, Mega Man Legacy Collection, and Alien Isolation. There’s also Sonic Generations, widely regarded as the best current-era Sonic game available, and Binary Domain, an amazing third-person shooter from Sega that asks the question “what if the world is flooded due to global warming and machines start to take over?”
So in a sense, it’s like The Matrix, only more Japanese. If that’s even possible.
Pay more and get Dead Rising 2 and Valkyria Chronicles Remastered, two great games for an even greater price.
There’s more, but we’re out of time. Get over to the Humble Bundle store and get busy buying!
