Max Payne might have acquired a taste for radiant Hawaiian shirts after fleeing the steel metropolis of New York City, but the grizzled, balding former detective hasn’t softened to Mai Tais on the beach in Maui just yet. While Rockstar is still being tight-lipped about much of Max Payne 3’s plot, we know that Max’s new private security gig in Brazil has gone haywire in just about every way you would expect it too. And now, a new explosive trailer from the developer shows how the chaos is sending Max’s life into a savage spiral yet again.
Based off of story details we learned all the back in April, we know Max is residing in Sao Paulo, Brazil eight years after the events of Max Payne 2. Still attached to his tried and true liquid method of drowning away sorrows, he’s carving out an existence by working in private security for the wealthy Rodrigo Bronco - whose wife happens to combine her massive wealth and stunning looks with a wild party animal personality.
