Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has already been a commercial and critical success through its open-world game mechanics and storytelling. Once players had finished the game there were plenty of calls for more content drawing inspiration from the vast Dragon Ball Z lore. Fortunately, this content is arriving and a loading screen will have fans excited for what is to come.
Considering the popularity of Dragon Ball Z, it was unsurprising when a game like Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot which told a tried and tested story alongside interesting fighting mechanics was a commercial success. Fans have been interested in what DLC content would become available and after the latest update, the time is near.
The new loading screen for the DLC “A New Power Awakens” has been posted by Twitter user Dragon Ball Hype. The user also stated that the loading screen will be available with the entire DLC on April 28. The loading screen is rustic and dark with characters from the Dragon Ball Z series. Initial reaction to the art has been very positive from fans and it seems that plenty of players are keen to see what is delivered in the DLC for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. What is clear is that players have high expectations for additional content.
The inclusion of Beerus and Whis suggests that the DLC will be more difficult than what has proceeded and will also offer players the opportunity to achieve “Super Saiyan God” by powering up. Many players will be excited at a new challenge and facing it with a new level of power. It will be interesting to see how the DLC content for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot continues to entertain fans but this first major piece of content looks set to impress.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has already been a huge success, the challenge for the title is now retaining players and managing to live up to the standard that the core game managed to provide.
