There is no doubting the Nest Protect is a very clever device that works as prescribed and completes the task it sets out effortlessly. The Nest Protect looks good, will alert you to a fire or CO2 emergency and even guide you through the room you’ve got it placed in all without you really having to do anything. However this is crazily excessive for smoke detector and you really have to work out how important it is to have a connected smoke detector to justify the £109 price tag.
