Every bit as bombastic as the real-life NBA, NBA 2K23 is a real treat for hardcore basketball nuts. It’s complex, but basketball is a complex game, and the overriding feel is of a sports game that is more controllable and less semi-automated than the likes of FIFA. Those who are new to basketball will find it intimidating at first, but basketball enthusiasts who can lose themselves in every conceivable facet of the NBA will get the most out of this. It’s authentic, sprawling and technically brilliant.
