Despite the NBA temporarily shutting down due to COVID-19 concerns, NBA 2K has continued to add new content and events. In fact, after the NBA halted the season, NBA 2K has been used to simulate and play the normal NBA schedule. The MyPlayer mode in NBA 2K20 has a similar feature called MyPlayer Nation, which allows players to participate in challenges based on the real season using their created player.

The newest MyPlayer Nation challenge will give players a chance to receive the exclusive Zoom Freak 1 ‘All Bros 4’ shoe in-game and the chance to purchase the limited edition shoe through the Nike SNKRS app. The Zoom Freak 1 is the first signature shoe for Giannis Antekoumpo and the colorway is an homage to his four brothers.

The shoe can be obtained for your MyPlayer by winning a MyPlayer Nation playoff game between April 11th and April 16th. Players that want the chance to purchase a physical version will have to link their Nike account and download the Nike SNKRS app. 2K’s deal with Nike enables these challenges and rewards, and there could be even more in the future based on 2K signing on more and more partnerships.

This is not the first exclusive Nike shoe that 2K has announced. Previously, MyPlayer Nation challenges have included signature shoes from Lebron James, Paul George, and the late legend Kobe Bryant. These exclusive shoes release on NBA 2K20 and are unavailable anywhere else. There are only two days until the Zoom Freak 1 ‘All Bros 4’ is available to win and physical versions of the shoe are extremely limited.

NBA 2K20 is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.
