A post from the Natsume official twitter account has revealed the first look of Harvest Moon: One World’s male protagonist.

The as of yet unnamed character is set to appear later this year when Harvest Moon: One World is released for the Switch sometime in 2020. The character description says that he is obsessed with a book about crops and animals after he received as a child who desires to eat something other than potatoes. Don’t we all, unnamed male protagonist. Don’t we all.

The tweet asks for name suggestions, so feel free to share some of yours. Here are three options for you to consider Natsume: Tobias, Nathaniel, or Turnip.

Interestingly, the bio is a bit different from a Natsume post that revealed the main female protagonist.

She is described as a cheerful young woman with a bright personality who yearns to travel in search of the various foods she read about in her book. So, while they aren’t entirely identical, they do have some things in common. They are both nameless and live their lives in accordance with a book they’ve read. It must be a very compelling read.

Once again, they ask for name suggestions for her, so here goes nothing. Dolores, Angelica, or Parsnip.

Harvest Moon: One World is a farming sim that will feature a new world with both new and returning characters, unique villages, and new challenges as you grow your farm. The story is set in a world where fruits and vegetables no longer exist, with players venturing beyond their towns to investigate a mystery and bring back produce to the world. After all, a world without broccoli is not a world worth living in.

With the popularity of other life sim games, it is not a surprise to see Harvest Moon return. After all, it is much more fun and much easier to manage and control the lives of virtual characters rather than our own, right?

Before the year’s end, we will be joining Parsnip or Turnip on their quest to bring veggies back to the world and end the tyranny of starch once and for all.
