The adorable NAIRI: Tower of Shirin is getting a sequel next year. HomeBearStudio has released a free prologue via Steam as a sneak peek to the continuation of this series.
The animated adventure from the Dutch indie developer picks up right where Tower of Shirin left off. Nairi has left the Tower of Shirin and is continuing her quest to rescue her family with the help and guidance of her companions. NAIRI: Rising Tide has officially entered Shirin’s upper district but now faces the threat of a deadly prophecy coming to fruition on top of every other danger she must face.
The hand-drawn style of this game has been compared to Disney and Studio Ghibli and won a lot of fans over by just being precious. The humanized animals and squishy looking characters along with the story book nature of a click and point style game makes the NAIRI series one of the most adorable adventure games around.
