Despite being barred from streaming VALORANT on the first day of the beta, Nadeshot still achieved a five-kill ace to win his first game. Teaming up with a cast of big personalities – Cloakzy, TimTheTatman, CouRage, and DrLupo – Nadeshot methodically eliminated each opponent with a Vandal rifle. He played as the agent Phoenix, utilizing his ultimate ability to secure the win.
VALORANT uses a best-of-25 match format, so Nadeshot’s ace was the final victory needed in order to win the full game. The star-studded team was quick to hype up the 100 Thieves owner, CouRage slipping in a subtle “get the ace Nadeshot” right before the final kill. With no respawn system (aside from Sage/Phoenix’s ultimate abilities) during rounds, every kill in VALORANT feels amazing; Getting all five kills is euphoric.
Unfortunately for Nadeshot, however, he wasn’t able to stream his first experiences with the game. Apparently, other LCS organization owners were quick to voice their concerns about his permission to stream on the 7th of April. Content creators were given the pass to stream the first day of the beta, while organizations were told to wait until the next day. Nadeshot has a foot in both doors, so the gray area caused a bit of drama.
Regardless, Nadeshot decided to record some of his gameplay from the first day privately, so the footage of the ace was made available to fans soon after.
