With the coronavirus pandemic leading to the shutdown of various businesses, television comedies like Parks and Recreation have been brought back for episodes to raise money for coronavirus relief. Apple TV+’s streaming series Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet is also apparently coming back with a special quarantine episode this month, though not for any apparent charitable purpose.

The show, which is produced by people involved with It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Modern Family, and Ubisoft executives, is a workplace comedy following a team of developers working on a World of Warcraft-esque online multiplayer game. Its quarantine episode airing May 22 will focus on that team trying to work via video conferencing.

After Mythic Quest’s co-creator and star Rob McElhenney posted that production on the second season of the show has been halted due to the coronavirus pandemic, yesterday’s announcement of a new episode likely made fans of the series happy to have something to look forward to.

Shows like Mythic Quest and The Morning Show have helped prop up Apple’s streaming service. With similar services like Netflix seeing booms during the pandemic, it should be interesting to see how much attention this special episode receives.

Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet is available to stream now, exclusively on Apple TV+.
