Already available on iOS and Android mobile devices, My Diggy Dog 2 - from developer and publisher King Bird Games - will be making its way to Steam Early Access next month, bringing a second round digging and platforming action to players’ PCs.
My Diggy Dog 2 puts players in the shoes, er… paws… of Marty - the canine companion to a duo of archaeologists - Christopher and Clara - who are always going on adventures to find ancient treasure. This time around, while on the hunt for the ancient Heart of Space, Clara ends up vanishing, leaving Christopher and Marty to fend for themselves. The two set off in search of the ancient relic, hoping that it will also lead them to the missing Clara.
Of course, as Marty, players will be the ones doing all of the work. As the game’s title suggests, players will be using Marty’s digging abilities to solve puzzles and find their way through various dungeons, caves, and excavation sites.
At launch, the Early Access version will feature 60 levels, with at least 120 levels planned for the full version of the game that is tentatively slated for a fall 2020 release. For those who want an early taste, both the original and My Diggy Dog 2 are available on mobile devices.
