Itching to get your hands on a physical copy of nanogram puzzler visual novel Murder By Numbers? Well, then you’re in luck! EastAsiaSoft has just announced physical copies of the game will be released this fall, and are now available for pre-order.

Murder By Numbers will feature a standard and limited edition physical launch. The standard edition will include a physical copy of the game, while the limited edition comes with a bunch of exciting goodies, including a game manual, an art book, some adorable SCOUT stickers, and a two-disk CD soundtrack featuring all the music composed by Masakazu Sugimori (of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney fame) from the game. All the contents will come in a box featuring art of protagonist Honor Mizrahi and SCOUT.

There will only be 2,000 copies of the limited edition, and those who purchase it will receive a certificate letting players know exactly which numbered copy they’ve received.

Interested players can pre-order both the standard and limited edition physical copies on Play-Asia. Both editions are expected to ship in September 2020. The standard edition retails for $29.99 while the limited edition retails for $34.99.

Murder By Numbers was released on the Nintendo Switch eShop and for PC devices via Steam earlier this year on March 5, 2020. The game follows Honor Mizrahi, an actress known for her famous role as a detective. However, she soon finds herself solving mysteries in the real world after her showrunner is mysteriously found dead and Honor is designated as the prime murder suspect. Desperate to find the true killer and clear her name, she teams up with flying robot computer SCOUT.

The game is a hybrid of visual novel-style gameplay interspersed with nanogram puzzlers. There are four different mysteries in the game total, and players can travel to various locations, find clues, and solve nanograms in order to decipher them. For those who might be unfamiliar with nanogram’s unique design, don’t worry, as the game begins with an incredibly helpful tutorial and is filled with various aids throughout the game to ensure players can make it through the story.

Murder By Numbers is currently available for digital download on the Nintendo Switch and for PC devices via Steam. Pre-orders for the standard and limited edition physical copies are now open, with an expected release date of September 2020.
