The latest update for MU Origin 2 has introduced some interesting content for players to enjoy and the Magic Gladiator Class to tackle it.
According to The Pocket Gamer, The 3.1 update released on Thursday and introduced a host of new things. Most prominent is the Magic Gladiator class. It’s a hybrid of the warrior and mage archetypes that allows players to be proficient with both blade and magic. Dual-wielding a sword and magical staff they are brutal in close quarters combat and adaptable to a variety of scenarios.
In addition to the new class is the Abyss Castle Siege. This is a PVP event where both Guilds and individual players can compete to see who’s the best on their server. Performing well will net a variety of rewards that makes competing worthwhile to even the most casual player. In order to participate, players will need to secure a Loren Badge that occasionally drops from Elite and Boss class monsters in the Abyss.
The update also introduced Couple Dungeons. In an effort to incentivize married couples to play together Couple Dungeons function as a unique co-op experience with quirky rewards. One example is the Wedding Ring enhancement materials that can be used to boost the stats of various items. There are also Couple Skills that can benefit co-op players by allowing one player to resurrect the other, raising experience gains, and other buffs.
The new class seems to have caught players’ attention, and it’ll be interesting to see how it shakes up the current standing meta builds. Especially now that players will be able to test their abilities against each other in the Abyss Castle Siege.
