The Macro should be seen for what it is: a budget handset with a big battery life and fuss-free software. Buy it for the cameras and you’ll be disappointed, though, which is somewhat a contradition to the name. Yes, it can do close-up shots, but we’d rather spend a little extra, shelve the macro stuff, and buy the better-specified Moto G8 Plus instead.
