Mortal Kombat 11 just launched, and as can be expected, Warner Bros. Interactive’s marketing campaign for the game is in full swing. One way that Warner Bros. Interactive has decided to promote Mortal Kombat 11 is by hiring SNL cast member and comedian Pete Davidson to appear on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to talk about the game. During his segment, Davidson revealed that there’s one character on the Mortal Kombat 11 roster he hates.

As it turns out, Davidson is not a fan of Mortal Kombat 11’s Johnny Cage. “So he does splits and punches you in the d*** is his special move,” Davidson explained to Fallon. “And he just looks like everybody I grew up with in Staten Island so I just kill that dude. I enjoy killing him.”

Davidson added that another issue he has with Johnny Cage is his daughter, Cassie Cage. “Also he has like a hot daughter which is like weird because I’m lonely and she’s like not real. So there’s that in the video game as well: sexual confusion.”

While he may dislike some of the characters in Mortal Kombat 11, Davidson went the extra mile to promote the game with his attire. Not only was he wearing a Mortal Kombat 11 t-shirt, but he was also wearing Mortal Kombat-branded shoes as well. Davidson went on to talk about how he is building his own personal arcade in his home, and joked that he may get a Mortal Kombat cabinet for it.

Pete Davidson is just the latest celebrity involved with Mortal Kombat 11. NetherRealm has used WWE wrestlers to promote the game as well, and even cast Ronda Rousey as Sonya Blade in the game. Additionally, actor Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa reprises his role as Shang Tsung from the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie in the Krypt and as the game’s first DLC character.

Perhaps more celebrities will become involved with Mortal Kombat 11 in the future, especially if the rumored Mortal Kombat 11 DLC characters like Spawn and The Terminator come to the game.

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
