Monster Hunter World will soon see the addition of gear based on Capcom’s Street Fighter franchise, with players able to make themselves look exactly like Ryu. Now thanks to a recent Capcom TV presentation, fans can see what live gameplay of the Ryu armor looks like.

The Monster Hunter World Capcom TV presentation features Ryu competing in an arena quest against one of the earliest monsters in the game, the Barroth. In the footage, we can see Ryu use some of his signature moves against the beast, including hadouken and shoryuken. The moves are actually gestures that don’t deal much damage, but are still rather amusing to see in action.

Of course, Street Fighter isn’t the only Capcom game being represented in Monster Hunter World through special armor. The game is also crossing over with Mega Man, as players will be able to unlock Palico armor that will make their feline companion look like an 8-bit version of Capcom’s famous Blue Bomber.

Monster Hunter World has also crossed over with a non-Capcom game, as exclusive event quests on PS4 have given fans the chance to unlock gear based on Horizon: Zero Dawn. Not only do PS4 gamers have exclusive access to the Horizon: Zero Dawn gear, but they will also get first dibs on the Street Fighter Ryu armor, as the quests for it will be available to those with Street Fighter 5 saves on their console before they’re released to everyone else.

After this exclusivity window ends, Xbox One and PS4 owners without a Street Fighter 5 save will all have the chance to unlock the Street Fighter-inspired armor by completing the associated quests. Capcom has yet to reveal when those quests will begin or what exactly they will entail, but more details should come to light in the coming weeks.

Monster Hunter World is available now for PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC release planned for later this year.
